Frankie Lons

LITERARY CLIENT

Frankie Lons can be described as charismatic, dynamic, strong willed and with an whatever-it-takes attitude. Frankie is rising from a struggling mother trying to close ties with her star daughter, to running her own show.

Comfortable in her own skin, she is best known for her pick up line, “Holla” and the candid mother of R&B Platinum Artists Keyshia Cole. One might often catch Frankie full of energy and bubbly at one of Atlanta’s hot-spots, but outside of work, Frankie enjoys time with her children and grand children.

Born Frankie Lavern Lons in Oakland, California, she blames nothing on her climate surroundings as a fault for her own downfalls. Frankie admits that she abused drugs and alcohol through most of her life, giving her sanity as she endured her turbulent situation in trying to stay in the streets and take care of her child; Keyshia Cole, the oldest of seven kids.

Life for Frankie came to a stand-still for the worst and turned for the best, when she was caught selling narcotics to an Oakland Police Officer. She was arrested in September of 2006, at that time Frankie was forced to send her eldest daughter, Keyshia Cole, to live under foster care until she returned. Neffeteria Pugh, her second eldest, lived in and out of group homes until she was old enough to live on her own. Frankie lost touch with the remaining five kids until they reunited on the set of Keyshia Coles reality show; season one, “The Way it is.”

At Frankie’s release, she struggled to gain strength with her relationship between Keyshia Cole and Neffeteria but often lost the battle until she proved a complete turn-around. Frankie prides herself on staying away from negative situations and keeping the positive surrounding her, eventually moving from Oakland to Atlanta, Georgia in 2007.
Frankie now resides in Atlanta with her three children, Keyshia Cole, Neffeteria Pugh, and, Elite Noel and a slew of grand children.

Present day, you will find Frankie clean, sober, and, ready to work. Now starring in her own show with her second eldest daughter, Neffeteria, self-tittled, “The Neffe and Frankie show.” The show is expected to air in June 2009.
“The show exudes growth, people are going to see the change and get a good laugh,“ Frankie said.

Frankie is also working on her autobiography, “Two sides to every story.” In addition, Frankie is working on her own shoe line that will gear towards adult woman and men called, “Code 10,” and launching her own perfume and cologne, “Holla.”

“I am positive 90 percent of the time, the other 10 percent depends on what time of the day it is. I say what I mean and mean what I say, thanks!”
