Matthew Specktor
Matthew Specktor’s first novel will appear in 2009, from MTV Books. His stories and essays have appeared in Salon, and in various anthologies. His screen adaptation of Shirley Hazzard’s The Transit of Venus was optioned by Warner Independent Pictures. He has been a MacDowell Colony Fellow, and is presently a degree candidate at the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. He lives in Los Angeles.
