Scratch DJ Academy was founded in 2002 by Jam Master Jay, the legendary DJ from Run DMC, with one goal: to provide unparalleled education and access to the art form of the DJ and producer. Headquartered in New York City, and with locations in Miami and Los Angeles, Scratch has taught hundreds of thousands of students from all 50 states and over 30 counties.
